Barrel Aged #4
The rings from a beer barrel of the Frontaal brewery. turned into a hanging lamp and connected in an asymmetric way giving a playful effect with shadows on the wall. almost resembling electrons rotating around an atom core.
Barrel Aged #3
A barrel of the Frontaal brewery that fell apart, the Staves turned into this standing light which gives a nice light cast 360 degrees around.
Wood blob
A piece of pear wood saved from the fireplace.
Stitched
A fun little experiment using thread and fabric to create these images. Done in collaboration with Stam Indoor.
Hooves
A set of light holders made from hooves that were found on a e market in the French coastal village Montalivet. They must have been part of a coat holder or something like that.

Nothing comes for free
This Year due to corona related implications, we were forced to install a coin acceptor to our art installation. dont worry you can still watch it for free, there are just some features that need payment in order to be seen, heard and felt.
Roots
An repurposed Buddleja davidii root.
Pulley
This lamp was upcycled from a barn find somewhere in the north of the Netherlands. Using rope look wires to match the rugged rusty pulleys. the bulb was fitted with wooden rings reused from an old curtain rail system.
Lights camera action
An old camera found in my dads collection on the attic. the camera has been modified to be switched on using the shutter button and dimmed using the spool button.
Bottle light V2
The second version of the bottle light is made out of a larger LED-light bulb modified to fit into the wine bottle. the larger version gives better spread light but is harder to replace when defect.
Pandemic Panic
In order to survive the corona crisis a couple of these branded face masks were created. A very limited edition almost sold out, so order fast wile still in stock!
Pump
An old water pump upcycled to create a dimmable lamp.
Moss mural
An attempt to create a flower of life drawing on the garden wall using a moss and yogurt mixture. The idea was good mainly for the snails that ate the mural within a couple of weeks, before it had the chance to start growing. Now all that is left is faint green staining on the wall.
Goat Stool
The remaints of Vincent were securely stored to be able to use them again. His legs were once used to drink beer from at a house party. Now they have been used for this incredible piece of furniture.
Little Surprise
The reuse of a once gifted beer opener could not be better if you ask me. Somehow my friends think that I’m very fond of phallus shaped objects so I get them gifted quite often. Below a image of what it used to look like before it failed fulfilling its job of opening beers and needed new purpose.
